Destination Workforce®

Destination Workforce®, a bold initiative of the English Empowerment Center, delivers language-based workforce training to English language  learners at the lowest literacy levels. Through Destination Workforce®, the English Empowerment Center teaches English language learners the foundational language, literacy, cultural skills, and even industry-recognized credential training they need to obtain, succeed, and advance in entry level jobs. With these courses, adults learn critical language and soft skills, while leveraging their employability and marketability.

Business-Based Classes

The English Empowerment Center offers English language classes customized to meet the needs of your industry and brand. In consultation with your team, the English Empowerment Center learns about the language barriers impeding excellence among your most promising employees. A team of experts in the field of adult language acquisition develop a course specifically designed to increase your team's workplace proficiency and create assessments to measure class progress towards your team's stated goals. With Destination Workforce®, we will develop the language skills your employees need to succeed - ultimately improving business performance. See your business improve customer service, reduce staff turnover, improve workplace safety, build loyalty, and increase productivity!

“The Destination Workforce® program built confidence in our team members, enabled them to communicate better with our guests, and increased their workplace satisfaction. We promoted one team member who has since completed corporate training in English, and another was recently awarded Team Member of the Month! It was time well spent and we would do it again in a heartbeat!”Soo Kim, Assistant General Manager, DoubleTree by Hilton McLean Tysons
