During the fall semester, more than 60 teachers, class aides, and supplemental tutors participated in LCNV’s professional learning community (a.k.a. “Instructor Chats”) to learn effective practices for remote instruction, trade tips and resources, and share learner success stories. These instructor chats have resumed for the spring semester – now held four times a week.
We would like to take a moment to recognize just a few instructors who have gone above and beyond upskilling their teaching practices.
Join us in congratulating LCNV instructors Enebish, Jack, Jim, and Wafa for earning their Foundations of Remote Instruction Certificate from Literacy Minnesota! And congratulations to Linda for completing the online course Beyond Basics: Multilevel ESOL Classes run by the Virginia Adult Learning Resource Center. Did we miss your name? Let us know!
