LCNV Celebrates Community at 2019 Recognition Ceremony “My Voice Matters”

On June 20th, we celebrated our 57th Annual Recognition Ceremony. It was our honor to recognize some of the exceptional partners, volunteers and students who make it possible for LCNV to advance our mission. Now in its second year, we were so pleased to present Santos Rubio with this year’s Patricia M. Donnelly Merit Scholarship for her inspiring dedication to learning. Many thanks to Gaston Araoz from the Office of U.S. Senator Tim Kaine for being our guest speaker this year. We were also pleased to have representatives from the offices of Senator Mark Warner, Congressman Don Beyer, and Congressman Gerry Connelly, as well as State Delegate Ibrahim Samirah join us. Congratulations to LCNV’s 2019 Essay Readers, Awardees, and all who are a part of the LCNV family!
